In Toloka, various authors post tasks to achieve their specific goals. To help achieve these goals, the platform uses special algorithms to distribute tasks among performers. These algorithms take into account the performer's profile, skills, and many other factors.
Expanding the task list
We work with project authors to increase the number of tasks available in Toloka. However, it's important to note that the platform cannot guarantee that any specific task will be continuously available to every user. The availability of tasks can change for several reasons.
📖 Toloka cannot personally add tasks to your feed or influence task availability.
Please don't contact the support team on this question, perform the tasks properly, confirm the languages you know and regularly check for new tasks.
Requirements for Tolokers
When an author posts a task, they specify certain requirements for performers. These requirements depend on the goals and specifics of the project. Some common requirements include:
- Country of residence: Some tasks are only available to performers from certain countries.
- Languages spoken: Tasks may require knowledge of specific languages.
- Skills: Certain skills may be necessary to complete the task correctly.
- Type of device: Some tasks might be designed for mobile devices, desktops, or other specific types of hardware.
- Other parameters: Additional criteria might be specified based on the project's unique needs.
Why I don't have tasks
We recommend you to check the filters; if they are set correctly and you still don't see any tasks, it means there are no tasks available right now. New tasks will show up as soon as they are available.
If you notice that some tasks you liked are no longer available, it could be for the following reasons:
- Tasks are completed: The tasks might have been finished by other performers and are no longer available.
- New requirements: The author might have updated the requirements, making you no longer eligible for the task.
- Performance Issues: If you previously made mistakes while completing similar tasks, you might be restricted from accessing them again.
By understanding how tasks are distributed and the requirements set by authors, performers can better navigate Toloka and make the most of the opportunities available on the platform.
