The completed tasks in Toloka are sent directly to the project owners who then determine the reward distribution. The quality of the task completion is always taken into consideration through various methods. There are three payment methods available for transferring payment, and we'll provide you with more details about each of them.
Automatically Accepted (Get paid as soon as you submit)
Once a task is submitted, the remuneration for it will be credited to the toloker's account immediately. The result of the task will be automatically accepted as well. It's important to note that after the auto-acceptance, the author cannot change their decision and take money back, even if the task was completed incorrectly. The funds will be available for withdrawal as soon as they are credited.
How the author checks the quality?
It's important to avoid randomly clicking on tasks in the hopes of earning quick money, as this approach is short-term and can lead to a ban. Projects with automatic acceptance still have quality checks in place to ensure accuracy. Special tasks are included in these projects, which are indistinguishable from regular tasks, but the correct answers are already known. These tasks help the author determine how carefully the user has studied the instructions and understood the project. If too many mistakes are made, the user may be blocked from the project.
How to find tasks with auto-acceptance?
To find tasks with automatic acceptance, navigate to the task feed and uncheck the "With non-automatic acceptance" filter box.
What kind of tasks is it?
Usually, these are projects on categorization, moderation, relevance and other similar projects with tasks where you can determine the only correct answer.
Non-automatically Accepted (Get paid after your task is accepted)
Once you submit a task, remuneration will be credited to you within 21 days, although it is usually sooner. The task will be checked, and payment will be added to your inactive balance in your profile as a gray or white amount. You can withdraw the money only after the author checks the quality and accepts the task. If there are many mistakes, the task will be rejected, and the money will be removed from your inactive balance. If the author does not have time to check the task, it will be accepted automatically.
How the author checks quality?
In most cases, instructions for tasks will provide you with detailed criteria based on which your work will be evaluated. Even if such criteria are not mentioned, the instructions themselves should be your main point of reference. It is important to complete the task as per the author's requirements in a clear and comprehensible manner.
How to find tasks with non-automatic acceptance?
To find tasks with non-automatic acceptance, go to the task feed and apply the "With non-automatic acceptance" filter. You can identify these tasks by the distinctive lines in the "Details" field, which indicate the maximum check time and the average time it takes to complete a check. Most assignments are checked by authors within 24 hours or less; however, some may take several days or 1-2 weeks.
What kind of tasks is it?
These can be field tasks, area selection tasks, content creation tasks, and others. In such projects, it is usually impossible to determine the only correct answer, as the result will be individualized for each toloker.
The goal of any author is to get quality completed tasks, not to save money on payments to tolokers. Perform tasks carefully and according to the instructions to get more rewards.
Bonuses
A reward that is added only to a successfully accepted task, either by auto- or non-auto acceptance. Bonus can be from 0.005$ to 100$. This is how authors thank tolokers for high-quality results or pay for additional work in a task. Bonuses can be withdrawn immediately.
How to find tasks with bonuses?
There are no filters for such projects. If bonuses are given for additional actions - it is usually written in the instructions. For example, in field tasks bonuses are awarded for each new object found and photographed by the toloker.
What kind of tasks is it?
Technically, authors can accrue bonuses for any type of paid task. To track where such a reward came from, go to the "History" tab in your profile. The bonus will be shown in the line of the task for which you were rewarded, or as an independent accrual. Often, along with the bonus, the author writes what the extra money was sent for. For example, 1 $ (the main cost of the task) + bonus 0.1 $ for quality fulfilment of tasks in the project.
