If you no longer wish to complete tasks on Toloka, we advise you to delete the application or simply refrain from visiting the site, since we currently do not have the option to restore a deleted account. If you change your mind later in the future, we won’t be able to help you to access your profile.
If you have decided to delete your account permanently , we will guide you on how to do it in this article. Please keep in mind that only the user can delete their account, so we won't be able to do it for you even if you contact the Support team.
This is because the account owner is the only one who has access to the funds earned, and deleting the account will result in loss of access to those funds. Therefore, you must make sure you want to delete your account before proceeding.
How to delete an account:
On the website
To delete your Toloka account, open the My Profile tab, click the Edit link on the left under the avatar and click Delete profile at the bottom right.
Please note that if you delete your account, we won't be able to restore it or register you in Toloka again: User Agreement.
Since the user's account in Toloka contains money received for completing tasks, working with the account is designed so that only the user can delete it. This allows us to protect performers' accounts from possible manipulations with them and the funds on them.
In the Android app
To delete an account in Toloka, go to "Settings" and select "Delete account" at the bottom of the page.
Please note that by the User Agreement, if your account is deleted, we won't be able to re-register you, as well as restore a previously deleted account.
In the IOS app
To delete an account in Toloka, go to "Settings" by clicking on "More" in the bottom right corner and select "Delete account".

Re-registration
Unfortunately, if you deleted your account, but realized that you want to restore it and return to Toloka, we will not be able to help you. We appreciate our users and want to help them; however, we have not yet implemented the possibility of account recovery.
Since re-registration in Toloka is prohibited by the User Agreement, if you create another account, it will be blocked. Users can only use their old login data to complete tasks in Toloka. You will also not be able to create multiple accounts for the same number, each number can only be used once.
Deletion of personal data
Deletion of personal data occurs after you delete your Toloka account.
The Privacy Notice enumerates the grounds upon which Toloka processes personal data. Listed below are the specific bases for which personal data might be processed and the consequent actions relating to such data upon the deletion of your account.
1. Processing of data pursuant to the User Agreement
Data may be processed to execute the User Agreement in the following circumstances:
- Sending marketing emails (where applicable).
- Tracking fraudulent activities.
- Registering Tolokers.
- Transferring payment from Toloka to Tolokers.
- Withdrawing funds to an e-wallet.
- Analyzing the behavior of Toloka users.
- Completing tasks where the requester asks Tolokers to submit personal data, such as a selfie.
- Logging in to Toloka.
- Facilitating communication between requesters and the Tolokers performing their tasks.
- Providing technical support.
- Sending notifications to Tolokers concerning specific activities within Toloka.
- Verifying Tolokers when they withdraw substantial amounts.
- Making sure Tolokers are not cheating when performing tasks.
- Assigning skills to Tolokers based on the evaluation of completed test tasks.
What happens to personal data: Toloka deletes personal data processed for the above purposes immediately upon the deletion of your account.
2. Processing of data in pursuit of Toloka’s legitimate interests.
The processing of data is important to ensure Toloka’s legitimate interests as stipulated by law (such as audits or court procedures) so long as such processing does not significantly infringe on your interests, rights, or freedoms. The processing of data is undertaken to identify Tolokers in the event of potential legal proceedings (Toloker IDs, information on completed tasks, and e-wallet number).
What happens to personal data: upon the deletion of your account, Toloka reserves the right to retain personal data processed for this purpose for up to three years.
3. Processing of data for anti-fraud measures.
In this case, data is processed to protect Toloka from users who were previously banned for violating the User Agreement. Toloker identity documents and IDs are processed.
