Follow these simple rules:
- Provide your real data during registration.
- Use only one account.

What not to do in Toloka
We make sure that Tolokers follow the rules of the platform, so we check the information they provide.
Toloka has an antifraud system for monitoring and preventing fraudulent behavior. It monitors Toloker behavior and blocks suspicious accounts. In different cases, the ban may be caused by different reasons, and we are not always able to remove it. Sometimes, the account may be blocked again after unblocking.
So do not:
- Use the platform if you are under 18.
- Provide invalid data during registration or in your profile.
- Use multiple accounts.
- Use scripts or bots or try to earn dishonestly.
- Complete tasks poorly.
- Make frequent mistakes when entering captchas, enter them carelessly, or skip them.
It is important to provide your real name and surname when using Toloka to avoid issues with withdrawing money. If your name is not accurate, it may be difficult to prove that you are the real account owner. In situations where the anti-fraud system is activated your account may be locked until the documents are received. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that your name is correct and matches the name on your identity documents to avoid any complications.
Top errors in the profile name
• An incomplete surname, an abbreviated first name, or a name in a diminutive form. We are happy to welcome the user as Jim or Jimmy, but only James will be able to withdraw funds from Toloka. Be sure to specify your name as in the passport.
• Nickname or initials, an assumed name or surname is also a mistake. We love having Miss Sparkles or the Duke of Windsor with us, but unfortunately, we will not be able to help these users either by withdrawing money or blocking their profiles. The data does not match the real ones, which means it is impossible to confirm them. If such an account is blocked, it will not be possible to restore it.
• The patronymic in the "Last name" field or typos can change your data beyond recognition. Make sure that everything is written correctly and in the right lines.
• Extra spaces will prevent you from registering if you added them when filling in your first and last name.
Exceptions:
- If you have a unique or rare name that our system flags, don’t fret! Our support team will verify it using your identity documents.
- If the first or last name is indicated in another language. Here, too, we will check your documents so that everything matches, and return access to your profile.
We hope to see real names without spaces in your Toloka profiles :)
